This is one of the best articles I’ve read on Hedge Funds in a long time. It explains, in English, how they work, how their managers have been paid hundreds of millions, even billions of dollars, to run them, and why they are such a risky investment for most people along with the fact that they have done a horrible job in the past few years for their investors.
My congratulations to Bloomberg/Business Week Magazine for running such a great story, and for author Sheelah Kolhatkar, for having the courage to go up against the big boys!
